Check out the latest from Australian Label Toorallie with the release of its new Supima Cotton & Linen Collection.

If you love ethically sourced clothes and, like me, enjoy wearing high quality cotton and linen, then it’s worth checking out the latest range from Toorallie.
The heritage Australian brands puts a focus on ethical and environmentally friendly agricultural practices, which is why they acquired their 100% Oeko Tex-certified linen from Libeco, a family-run weaving mill in Belgium that has been in operation since 1858. It is one of Europe’s finest textiles is Libeco linen, and best of all is carbon neutral, waste-free, and Oeko-Tex-approved.
Along with their linen capsule collection, Toorallie has introduced a line of Supima Cotton T-shirts and dresses. I’ve recently been wearing the white T-shirt and I enjoy the quality cotton on my skin.
Toorallie’s New Summer 22-23 Collection

As a label, Toorallie boasts a 200-year history, and their new Summer 22-23 range lives up to its reputation with seasonal staples, or “practical clothing for the modern person,” made from natural, traceable, and sustainable fibers”.
Famous for its role in establishing the modern merino wool fashion business, it has now introduced a premium Belgian linen capsule inside the range, all of which is crafted by hand in Brunswick, Melbourne.

It has a transitional colour scheme works well from spring into summer, with mellow neutrals that give way to pops of colour like bright green and earthy terracotta brown. The new collection by Toorallie has forms that are a great fit for the linen’s ultra-soft hand feel and subtle sheen.
What The Founders Say About The New Collection

Describing the new collection, Toorallie’s founders, twin brothers Steve and Simon Smith said: “This season we have focused on how to make our summer collection more sustainable and traceable, aligning with our Australian sourced Merino Wool collection in Winter. We are excited to be supporting other local businesses and overseeing production from our home base”.
RWS Certified Merino Wool (‘certified as responsible wool standard’ merino wool) is used to create a lightweight knit line that is perfect for transitional weather or colder summer nights. Toorallie only uses wool from the world-famous Pooginook Sheep, which live on the plains of New South Wales’ Riverina region.
Toorallie’s founders visit the NSW Riverina annually to hand-pick each fleece in the woolshed, a labour of love that pays tribute to the company’s agricultural roots and ensures that only the finest, ethically sourced merino wool is used in their products.
