It’s where the huge statue of Abraham Lincoln is…there’s your reason to visit. In all seriousness, it’s also home to some of the best museums in the world in addition to the beautiful scenery when in full bloom; not to mention the exploding food scene present in this historically rich city.
Fun fact: both Herbert Hoover and John Quincy Adams had pet alligators in the White House
3.Cairo, Egypt

Fun fact: Cairo is home to the only remaining ancient wonder of the world in the Great Pyramid of Giza.
4.Galway, Ireland

Fun fact: Galway is home to the longest place name in Ireland, Muckanaghederdauhaulia, which means “piggery between two briny places”.

With Beethoven’s 250th birthday coming in 2020, Bonn is set to host a year-round line-up of concerts drawing world-famous orchestras, soloists and conductor. If you don’t fancy classical music, it remains a generally beautiful city with great wine, candy, museums and stunning architecture.
Fun fact: Bonn used to be the capital city of West Germany.

Recently known for its efforts towards using renewable energy, notably with their construction of the world’s first fully solar-powered airport. Kochi is also one of the most culturally in-touch cities, from the impressive displays of street art and festivals to the discrete homestays and backstreets that can only really be found if you aren’t looking for them.

Fun fact: Vancouver is one of the only major cities in North America where you cannot find a freeway access downtown.
9.Dubai, UAE
From desert to concrete jungle, the future is the present in Dubai with the launch of several marquee projects heading into the new decade. 10.Denver, USA
Currently in a phase of growth, creative energy and delicious food. You can visit the Santa Fe art experience, Meow Wolf, at Elitch Gardens Theme and Water Park. In addition to that, you can go see the wonderful displays in the Museum of Fine and Decorative Art. Although not in the mountains, you would think so from the sight of the Rocky Mountains behind the skyline of this charming boomtown.
Fun fact: Denver really is exactly one mile high. This means that golf balls go farther, alcoholic drinks feel stronger and the sun feels that bit warmer.
