The fashion mood was the antithesis to summer’s light and playful palette, although bright prints did make a striking appearance when the Peter Pilotto collection hit the catwalk.
Overall, the mood was more neo-romantic, with baroque influences – black lace and shoulder cutaways accentuated by dramatic ruffles and bell sleeves, a la White Suede.
sass & bide showcased their thigh-high black lace shorts and dresses on biker babes with sleek ponytails and masculine motorbike helmuts with leather fringing.
Jennifer Hawkins wore a colour pop of bright orange for the closing, standing out in the Maticevski crowd where black and white dresses with sharp lines, draping and fluid power skirts where teamed with dramatic lace-up stilettos.
The finale saw Jen and models air kissing as artificial rain fell, symbolic of the seasons approaching. Jennifer Hawkins wore by johnny on the red carpet wearing.
