For a bridal gown unlike any other, Busardi’s FW 15 collection will leave you spoilt for choice. Busardi Muntarbhorn, Creative Director of Busardi, showcased the labels intricate collection, which featured detailed embellishments, floral applique, brocade, Guipure lace, duchess satin, cloqué, organza, Thai silk, Chantilly lace, floral printed jacquard and embroidered tulle.
From the ethereal pale pinks and peach beige to dramatic purple, electric blue and black, the palette covered every bridal mood and style. Busardi collaborated with Austrian designer Nora Rieser to produce unique custom-made showpieces unlike any other, including sensational feather masks and capes. Here’s a few we loved…
A silver floral applique overlay allows the ethereal peachy beige to shine through.
Dramatic purples over peachy beige was a star attraction. For the masks, the feathers were attached to custom made perforated leather hoods which are closed by invisible snaps at the front.
Floor-skimming elegant pink embroidered tulle gowns with delicate floral applique create a magical look.
Lavish profusions of dark purple feathers on a cape were designed using goose shoulder quill, rooster trim and rooster saddle feathers all individually cut, draped and shaped by hand before being sewn onto tailor made calf leather bases.
Floor length dresses with fur trims and lace appliqué featured an array of light and midnight hues.
The collection included opulent fabrics such as heavy brocade and silk.
The dress adorned with feathers and Busardi’s signature Guipure black lace rose appliqué. The formidable collar of feathers by Austrian designer, Nora Rieser features black rooster feathers with a hint of green, draped and sewn on a soft tailored napa leather cape with an elegant stand-up collar.
Textural and amplified layering of Guipure lace, floral appliqué over Chantilly lace and floor-skimming movement in beige and violet blue create a dramatic affect.
