The gorgeous daughter of Jodi Gordon and Braith Anasta got to see the elephants and gorillas up close for the first time at Sydney’s Taronga Zoo.
But perhaps best of all she got to spend a precious day smiling and laughing with her newly separated parents.
Since they announced their shock separation in December 2015, the couple has always maintained that their daughter is their main priority.
They certainly showed a united front at Taronga Zoo, showering her with all the love they could muster for the milestone moment.
They later posted a series of adorable photos on their Instagram accounts.
“Happy Bday to the most special person on earth – I love you to the moon & back!!??” writes Jodi in one post.
Adds Brad: “Happy birthday to the most beautiful soul in the world… I love you to death my baby!! 2 already princess Aleeia”.
Although now living apart in a “trial separation” after three years of marriage, neither Jodi or Braith are sitting around brooding.
Braith dusted off the boots recently to turn out for the Sydney Roosters in the Auckland Nines, while Jodi is busy as ever with her modelling and ambassador role for Myer.
“Our break-up did not come out of the blue,” Braith confirmed to The Sunday Telegraph in January. “We had both seen it coming for a while.”
He also confirmed the rumours that they were in different stages of their lives, with Braith wanting more children while former Home and Away star Jodi, 31, wasn’t ready.
“I think Jodi did sacrifice her career for me when we got married and I’m very grateful for that…I wanted more kids and it wasn’t for her at that time in her life.”
