On her Instagram account using a specialty Snapchat filter, naturally.
Miranda, 33, shared the big news complete with the cartoon Snapchat co-founder on one knee proposing to a surprised cartoon Miranda.
The photo wasn’t shared on Snapchat, though (at least not to us).
Instead, Miranda shared it to her Instagram account, where it won’t disappear. The cartoons, for those who care, are actually Bitmoji creations, a company Snapchat recently acquired and folded into its app.
It will be Miranda’s second marriage – she was previously married from 2010-13 to actor Orlando Bloom. They have a five-year-old son, Flynn.
Evan, 26, who co-created Snapchat when he was a student at Stanford University, has never been married.
“They’ve fallen hard for each other and are really in love,” an insider told E! News just months into their relationship.
Another report says that Evan’s lack of public history probably appealed to Miranda. In fact, according to an Evan source, it was his decidedly non-Hollywood vibe that attracted the Victoria’s Secret model to him in the first place.
“Miranda loves how down to earth and brilliantly smart Evan is,” the source said. “They have incredible conversations and can talk about anything. He comes from a wonderful close-knit and loving family and that was a real draw to her.”
“He’s just so nice, very normal,” one insider said. “You would never know about his money. He is really down to earth.”
The couple recently splurged $16 million on this family home, below, in a quiet leafy suburb of Los Angeles
Even more importantly, Evan gets on equally well with Miranda’s son.
“Evan is really great with Flynn and they bonded instantly,” the source said.
“Evan gets down on the floor and plays with Flynn and is very fun and creative. That’s so important to Miranda and a quality that really stands out about Evan.”
