While showing off her 35-carat diamond dazzler again on the red carpet recently, she let slip a few more details about how lavish her wedding to the Aussie casino king will be.
“I’m most excited about the grandeur, darling,” Mariah tells Access Hollywood, clarifying she is going for quality over quantity.
“It’s not gonna be a big wedding,” she claims. “But it’s going to be grand.
“I think the most important thing is the relationship and, you know, just the connection. The love it of all. That’s the most important thing, but of course I love a grand moment.”
As for dress details and just who will be on the guest-list, Mariah is staying tight-lipped, letting her massive ring do all the talking for now.
“I’ve picked a lot of things that I can’t tell, but you’ve already seen the ring so POW,” laughs the 45-year-old as she flashes the giant rock, reported to be worth more as much as $18 million.
“Walking through a crowd with a ring on your finger and a lot of bracelets is a little bit, you know, daunting,” she laughs. “But it’s hard to take it off cause I love it so much,” she adds.
Hayman Island on the Great Barrier Reef is said to be the A-list couple’s location of choice, according to one report.
Besides walking down the aisle, Mariah is also excited to hit the road in March for her first European tour in 13 years.
“There’s a lot of nights, there’s a lot of cities, there’s a lot of people and I’m just looking for a lot of joy,” says the mum-of-two.
“There’s something about doing both of those things,” she adds of performing across the globe and on the Las Vegas stage. “But my favorite thing is being in the studio and recording and writing music.”
