In this hilarious new trailer for the eagerly anticipated war-comedy Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, Margot leaves no doubt as to where her affections lie for co-star Stephen Peacocke.
The former Home And Away pin-up plays a security guard who soon catches the eye of Margot’s character.
Instantly smitten, she asks the permission of her roommate, played by Tina Fey, to make a brazen move.
It seems the feelings are mutual between Stephen and Margot too after working on the movie, which is based on a memoir of a Chicago newspaper journalist caught in the thick of the Taliban conflict in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
In a recent radio interview with Kyle and Jackie O on KIIS FM, Stephen gushed over his co-star.
He says that Margot, who was propelled to superstar status after being cast in The Wolf of Wall Street, is “nailing it” in Hollywood.
“You hear the producers speaking sometimes and every time they spoke about her they only had lovely things to say.”
But he also admits that he nearly botched the audition for his biggest break yet in his burgeoning big-screen career.
“I did the call back in Darwin and I had to act it with someone through Skype (in America) and it was a complete disaster,” confesses the 34-year-old.
“Every time she said her lines there was like a delay and I said my lines. Somehow I ended up getting it.’
Paying tribute to his co-star and producer, he says of Tina: “If you’re a fan of hers I can tell you that she’s everything you’d hope she would be.
“She is one of the nicest people. She’s really funny and cool.”
Despite the on-screen chemistry with Margot, however, Steve is definitely off the market.
He married his long-time love Bridgette Sneddon at the end of 2014, quashing the persistent reports of a relationship with Home and Away co-start Bonnie Sveen.
