If the warm-up celebrations are any guide, it’s going to be a non-stop party at the reception at the lavish Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach.
Among a raft of fun Instagram pics and videos released in the countdown Joe is seen serenading Sofia to Guns N’ Roses’ Sweet Child O’ Mine at a pre-wedding dinner after-party.
The True Blood star then leans in for a romantic kiss which was greeted by cheers of applause.
His stunning bride has asked guests to share their pictures of all the weekend celebrations on social media with the hashtag #jofía.
In the many warm-up events, guests also posted shots of eight beautifully decorated cakes that were served at the pre-wedding dinner.
More than 400 celebrities, family and close friends have descended on the historic waterfront hotel, which sits on 140 acres of prime beachfront and is a celebrity favourite.
“Sofia’s flying a decorator from the Ritz Carlton in Paris and she’s bringing a bunch of hairdressers from California,” said one pre-wedding report.
“The entire hotel is booked out and they’re making it a long weekend celebration. They’re expecting the reception to go all night long with tons of dancing and live performances.”
Latin crooners Marc Anthony, Thalia and Gloria Estefan are said to be among the performers.
Also joining the couple on their big day are Ellen DeGeneres and Arnold Schwarzenegger, who is a close friend of the 38-year-old True Blood star.
The former California governor played matchmaker at the beginning of Sofia and Joe’s relationship and arranged for the pair to meet for the first time in New Orleans, with the help of Sofia’s Modern Family co-star Jesse Tyler Ferguson.
Sofia, 43, and Joe became engaged in December, 2014, after six months of dating.
“From the moment they got together, they fell head over heals and things have only grown stronger, said one report.
