In yet another big-name coup for the Ten network, Terri and Robert are joining Bindi Irwin on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!
The Sunshine Coast-based khaki warriors are billed to appear in the weekly ‘What’s In The Box’ segment on Monday, February 8.
“The Irwins are Australia’s favourite and most famous wildlife warriors,” says Ten chief programming officer Beverley McGarvey.
“We are very honoured that Terri, Bindi and Robert have agreed to drop into the I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! camp and we know the camp mates will be amazed and excited. I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! is surprising and delighting viewers around the country and this is a fantastic surprise.”
Just like camp leader, Shane Warne, the Irwins will arrive in the campsite like a present in a box, making for a great surprise for the celebs.
There’s no confirmation yet on whether the Bindis will be staying in the camp.
Reports says the famous Aussie family are currently filming a personal project in South Africa.
Meanwhile, after a woeful effort in her first ‘tucker trial’ when she flatly refused to take part, polarising celebrity Laurina Fleure has redeemed herself with her camp mates.
The former Bachelor contestant unearthed nine stars [and therefore nine meals] for her fellow contestants during a tense Cliffhanger challenge.
The segment required Laurina to be harnessed as she rummaged through vats of offal, snakes and lizards in an old ox cart perched on the edge of a mountain.
“I think it is more important that she got the nine stars rather than us get the food. I’m really pleased for her because she is pleased with herself,” Bonnie Lythgoe said after a clearly chuffed Laurina returned to camp.
