Seems she doesn’t quite subscribe to the social media fuss that’s erupted over Chris Martin and Coldplay playing second fiddle to her and Bruno Mars.
As our backstage video below shows, humble Queen Bey was just chuffed to have a front row seat to her Super Bowl favourites.
“I feel great,” she tells here as she’s ushered away to watch the rest of the game with Usher and her husband Jay Z.
“The best part was seeing Coldplay, for me, because I was able to watch from the back and I really enjoyed it.”
Chris knows that Beyonce is always brutally honest when it comes to his music.
The good friends recently collaborated on Coldplay’s single Hymn For The Weekend, but Chris admits that when he once presented Beyoncé with a song he penned for her, she didn’t pull any punches.
“She turned it down in the sweetest possible way: She told me, ‘I really like you – but this is awful,’” says Chris.
Meanwhile, Beyonce also reveals in our exclusive video how thrilled she is that fans are so receptive to her new single Formation.
“It makes me proud, that’s what I want. I want people to feel proud (of themselves), and have love for themselves.”
In a commercial after the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show, the world also learns that the Formation release is timed to coincide with the announcement of a world tour.
Starting on April 27 in Miami, the tour had 40 initial dates confirmed across the US, Canada and the UK in 2016.
Expect Australian dates to be added before the end of February, say industry sources.
