“We are giddy with excitement but at the same time we are really shocked,’ Rebecca, 33, tells the Herald Sun.
Already mum to son Oscar, four, and daughter Billie, two, Rebecca says the scan initially failed to pick up the second baby.
It wasn’t until she returned for a follow-up appointment four weeks later that she and husband Chris Judd, a former AFL star, found out they were having twins.
“We can’t quite believe it. We were weighing up whether to go for a third. We thought we would give it a try, and the first go we ended up having twins, which was so unexpected.
“I could see one baby, and then I could see a blob. And my words to my obstetrician were, “What’s that blob?” There was a little bit of silence, and then he said, “That’s another kid.”
The shock news has since forced the Melbourne-based couple to consider moving to a larger property before the twins’ October arrival.
Rebecca followed the news by posting a snap on her popular

“OMGEEEEEE- freakin TWINS are on the way,” she writes. “ I get heart palpitations and sweats telling people as I’m still in shock but also giddy with excitement.”
The brunette admits she already knows the sex of one baby – a boy – but is yet to determine the sex of the second.
Although still coming to terms with the baby news, Rebecca admits she is glad that word is now out: sharp-eyed viewers of Melbourne’s Channel 9 News’ weather forecast had already been sending her messages of congratulations.
“Half of my job live on air is turning to the side,” she says.
“There is nowhere to hide.”
