The Featherdale Wildlife Park in west Sydney is home to 2000 native Australian animals and the park allows kids to see the animals up-close and personal and learn all about them.
So you and your children can enjoy a day out together and maybe learn something you didn’t know about the Australian wildlife.
The Featherdale team is committed to animal conservation and education and hope to encourage kids’ awareness and knowledge of Australian wildlife.
There is also a lovely café on site so you can enjoy a bite to eat, or weather-permitting, why not take down a picnic or bbq and have lunch al-fresco in one the park’s picnic or bbq areas.
Featherdale is located at 217 Kildare Road Doonside and is open from 9am to 5pm daily. Admission fee $32
