Nothing compares to Macadamias with regard to taste and nutrition – so what better way to start the day than with this Macadamia Muesli Recipe?
Macadamia nuts are a rich source of Vitamin A, iron, protein, thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, and folates. They also contain moderate amounts of zinc, copper, calcium, phosphorus, potassium and magnesium. Plus they contain antioxidants like polyphenols, Amino acids, flavones, and selenium.
Macadamia Muesli Recipe
Serves 2- 3 PAX
- 200g oats
- 180g roasted macadamia
- 50g coconut flakes
- 160g golden raisins
- 100g sultanas
- 1/2 cup of honey
- 3tbsp butter
Toppings:
Yogurt or milk
Instructions:
Mix all the dry ingredients. In a pan warm the honey and butter. When it’s hot pour it in the dry mix and stir it well.
In a tray put the granola and cook it for 20 min 100 degrees or until goes lightly golden brown. Let it cool down.
