Unlike chocolate (Sorry Spot!), nut-based spreads are a generally pretty safe way to satisfy your canine‘s sweet tooth . Especially if you opt for one with natural ingredients and no added extras. Making this recipe for Fix & Fogg‘s dog friendly cupcakes (or should that be pup cakes?) practically pawfect!
INGREDIENTS
- 1 banana
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp Fix & Fogg Super Crunchy or Smooth Peanut Butter
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
TOPPING: - 1 mashed banana
- 2 tbsp Fix & Fogg Super Crunchy or Smooth Peanut Butter
INSTRUCTIONS
- Heat the oven to 180C fan bake and prepare your muffin tin or cupcake liners.
- Mash together the banana, olive oil and Peanut Butter until well combined before folding
in the flour, baking soda and powder. - Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown on the outside. Leave to cool.
- For the topping, mash together banana and Smooth Peanut Butter and spread evenly on
the muffins. Top with your dog friendly cupcakes little treat for some extra fun!
