Victoria Beckham To Samantha Jade: Best Beauty Collabs

Brace yourselves; there are three super exciting beauty collabs about to hit our shelves this Spring. We can barely contain the squeals – eek!

Creative collaborations are now so powerful, they are almost becoming the norm in the beauty and fashion worlds. They render shrieks of delight, waiting lists and lines that squiggle and snake around big department stores; simply add a big, shiny name, and the brand goes bang.

Make-up collaborations are no exception, and this Spring sees a trio of collabs set to whet the beauty appetite of makeup aficionados everywhere.

Here’s the collaborative tale of a make-up stalwart and fashion doyenne, pop princess and local beauty icon, and an ‘it’ girl and homegrown hero.

Victoria Beckham x Estée Lauder

You know you’re onto a winner when there is a waitlist and department heavyweights are begging for more stock.

Posh-priestess-come-satorial-queen, Victoria Beckham, has now turned her manicured hand to make-up, with a fitting and glorious Limited Edition range with Estée Lauder.

We were fortunate enough to play with the collection pre-catfighting over the last Kajalin in David Jones. The oohs and the ahs were well justified; a beautiful and cleverly curated “rock ‘n’ roll nanna” round up of four distinct looks from her favourite cities, and the beautification of her synonymous “sweaty-sexy skin” look.

VB X ESTÉE LAUDER

A dedicated perfectionist; Mrs. Beckham requested 27 revisions of the Brazilian Nude lipstick (meticulous much?) and when meeting with the Estée team for the first time – poured 15 years worth of hoarded makeup (most of it Estée) onto a table as her reference point (the gold and black casing is an ode to an antique cigarette case she found in London).

Still not convinced? Since the discontinuation of the cult (and might we add, ah-mazing) Modern Mercury Highlighter, the only way VB has kept her stockpile plentiful was by buying it through eBay. So, it makes perfect sense that she’s brought it back from the beauty dead and revamped it – Posh style. Take it from us, this is a limited edition collaboration worth breaking a heel for – be it Louboutin or not.

Available from David Jones October 1, 2016.

Samantha Jade x Models Prefer

Many people may not know this, but Samantha Jade is an unofficial make-up artist.

Having worked at the Make-up Store, doing all her friends, relatives and dancers make-up before showtime, and choosing lipgloss over Barbie as a spring chicken, her love and knowledge of make-up runs deep.

So it seems fitting the starlet foray into the world of foundation and contouring (she’s been contouring long before Kimmy K). Joining forces with Priceline Pharmacy’s in-house make-up brand, Models Prefer, the range comprises Sammi’s seven go-to beauty products, all conceived by the singer herself (with many an emendation straight from the singer’s mouth). Plus, your bank account will be singing her praises – affordable and amazing. For someone who “redoes” your make-up in her head whilst talking to you (true story), we trust her with our beauty lives.

SAMANTHA JADE X MODELS PREFER

Available early November, 2016, exclusively at Priceline Pharmacy.

Hailey Baldwin x ModelCo

When the word ‘it’ is used to describe you, you all of sudden yield magical pop culture powers. Take Hailey Baldwin for example, the ‘it’ girl / model / Kendall’s BFF is just about everywhere, even locally.

She is the latest make-up muse for iconic Australian beauty brand, ModelCo, with Miss B set to launch her ‘Hailey Baldwin for ModelCo Colour Cosmetics’ limited edition range.

“The Hailey Baldwin for ModelCo range is all about my signature go-to beauty products…I love that my fans can now create my personal beauty style”, says Baldwin. A beauty style so famous (and reminiscent of her BFF’s Kendall and Gigi), the look floods Instagram feeds daily and now can be mimicked at home. “My product range is affordable, accessible and combines quality and femininity for a photo-finish inspired look and feel. Think filter-esque hues, sleek packaging and premium formulas” – so you’ll be #selfie ready in no time.

Available exclusively on ModelCo’s online store www.modelcocosmetics.com and through retailer Mecca Maxima in November, 2016.

Hailey Baldwin's new make-up collaboration with ModelCo is out in November
