Celebrities are uniting forces with Global Citizen and the World Health Organisation to make ‘One World: Together At Home‘, a special broadcast in support of the fight against COVID-19. Set to air on 18 April 2020, the broadcast, curated in collaboration with Lady Gaga, will show unity to all that have been affected by COVID-19, will celebrate all those who are risking their lives every day to help combat its spread, and will feature some start-studded names including:

Hugh Evans, Co-Founder and CEO of Global Citizen, explained that “through music, entertainment, and impact, the global live-cast will celebrate those who risk their own health to safeguard everyone else’s.” In the past few weeks, the likes of John Legend, Charlie Puth, Shawn Mendes, Jennifer Hudson, and Miguel have performed live on their social media for the cause:
Racking up thousands of viewers, ‘Together at Home’ not only entertains but also spreads awareness.
The popular sessions are set to continue with an additional special digital mulit-hour broadcast across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and other platforms that will showcase more performances from global-renowned artists as well as real-life stories from healthcare heroes.

Support for the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for WHO, which was launched last month, has continued to grow and not just through the music. Individuals and world leaders from across the globe have been urged to take action and help in any way possible. Any and all commitments will go towards helping frontline healthcare workers around the world with any equipment and resources that they may need.
