Sydney-born and New York-based Nadia Fairfax of fairfaxjournal.com.au is effortlessly stylish and sends street-style photographers into frenzy with her unique ensembles.

Nadia spends much of her time travelling the globe for brands and is a prominent feature in the Sydney social scene. The sought after ‘it’ girl, has acquired a cult like following which fashion houses from street to luxury fall over themselves to be affiliated with.

I sat down with Nadia to chat about skin routines, social media and her exciting role in season two of Fashion Bloggers.

What does a day in the life of Nadia Fairfax involve?

It is forever and changing, there is no average day! There is a lot of time spent behind the computer and a lot of time spent shooting editorials. I don’t work-out too often, I will maybe walk once or twice in a week (if I am lucky! Haha)

You’re always on the move, what’s your trick to keeping comfy and stylish while travelling?

I hope I am looking stylish when travelling! I try to steer away from denim when flying many years ago you had to dress up to fly and I like to keep that in mind. I will bring a change of clothes to swap into once we are up in the air.

What was your favorite fashion memory from filming Fashion Bloggers so far and why?

We had a delightful weekend at The Waterhouse farm in the Southern Highlands, We had far too much fun! I can’t tell you anymore, you will simply have to watch.

What was your worst ever fashion moment?

Years and years spent wearing diamante covered leotards and scrunchies in my hair! My days in the gym were certainly not my finest fashion moments… Sport was my number one!

How do you keep yourself fresh and camera ready?

I regularly see the women at “The Clinic” in Bondi Junction for facials, and I drink a ridiculous amount of water, my skin looks so old if I don’t keep myself hydrated.

What would you say to the “haters” you might come across on social media?

Not too much at all. I wouldn’t waste my time… There will always be a few “trolls” out there. Its best to never engage.

Do you have a favourite fragrance? What makes it unique?

I frequently mix it up. Currently wearing Narciso by Narciso Rodriguez. It’s quite masculine, I look quite young so I like to wear a mature scent.

What beauty products can’t you live without?

Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream, The Clinic Moisturizer, CR formulations silk and pearl peptide, and I can’t travel without Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist.

Your last purchase was… A pair of Louis Vuitton boots go-go boots.
Your favourite wardrobe staple is… A white shirt. I have far too many.
Your favourite place in the world is… The apartment I share with my boyfriend in NYC.
Your favourite thing to do on the weekend is… Enjoy long boozy lunches with girlfriends, or watching many episodes of “Deadliest Catch” the reality show about crab fishermen.
Your favourite designer is… Oh gosh so many! I have a deep love for Dolce and Gabbana and am having a moment with Valentino’s “Amour” collection, but for everyday wear – Viktoria + Woods is on point!
