It’s not all doom and gloom in Hollywood couple-land in the wake of Brangelina’s demise.
As Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie parted ways, locked in a bitter divorce, actor Josh Brolin was walking down the aisle for the third time.
The No Country For Old Men star wed his former personal assistant, and girlfriend of three years, model Kathryn Boyd in a lavish private ceremony in North Carolina.
The happy couple both shared a series of stunning wedding pics and video on their social media sites.
Next to one snap of the beaming couple receiving congratulations from guests immediately after the ceremony, Josh shared a favourite poem from E.E. Cummings and a thank you note: “Thank you to all who were involved and made the trek: friends and family alike. We love you all dearly, deeply, and without measure. ❤️JB&KB.”
Kathryn, 29, shared the same photo as well as one of the two on the dance floor, with Josh tenderly kissing his new wife’s forehead.
She also posted this gorgeous shot, showcasing the dress she designed herself, arm-in-arm with her father with the caption: “Thanks for walking me down the aisle Dad”.
Josh was first married to Alice Adair for six years from 1988, with whom he has two children, son Trevor, 28, and daughter Eden, 22.
After eight years of marriage to actress Diane Lane their divorce was finalised in November 2013.
The stepson of Barbra Streisand, who was also briefly engaged to Minnie Driver in 2001, called 2013 the year of his ‘turning point.’
“I realised that I was on a destructive path,” the former wild-man recently told The Guardian.
“I knew that I had to change and mature. It was like I stepped back and saw the hamster wheel.”
