Step back in time at Chatswood in Sydney. Chatswood has been lit up by Vivid Sydney since the start of the festival on May 27 with a series of light installations named ‘WildLight – The BioKinetic City’ which has been created with inspiration from the creatures of Gondwana.
This is the last chance for parents and children to walk around in the land of the prehistoric.
Here are some of the fun features that families and friends can enjoy:
Walk around and witness the 3D animations of prehistoric creatures illuminated along the concourse.
Parents can climb into a interactive mechanical dinosaur costume during the Exoskeleton Encounter, and roam around The Concourse which is not only fun for children but also for the big kid in every parent.
Investigate Chatswood’s Pool of Reflection which has been transformed into a Primordial Pond with hidden mysteries lurking beneath the surface including giant eggs and reptiles.
Head to the middle of Chatswood Mall where you will find playful animations of reptilian creatures darting along the surface for children to chase and interact with.
Stroll across the Bridge of Illusions on the podium level of Chatswood Interchange which uses optical trickery to play with people’s minds and make the bridge appear to break away. Don’t worry we can assure you the bridge is fully intact so don’t be fooled by the illusional magic.
Make sure you don’t miss out on this light spectacle in the land of the extinct. This Monday on June 13 , 2016, is the final day of Vivid at Chatswood. However, you can take in the delights of Sydney’s spectacular light festival until June 18, 2016.
