Sweet Pea Gin Elderflower Spritz, this week’s cocktail of the week, comes to us directly from the talented mixologists at the Coal Bunker bar at Powerhouse Hotel Tamworth by Rydges Five Star Hotel.
The gorgeous hotel recently had a $12million upgrade and along with that came an extensive and innovative cocktail list that you’d be hard pressed to get through, even if you stayed a month or more! Not so bad if you’re a resident of Tamworth and you can drop by on a Friday night to try a couple each week!
From the list, our favourite has to be Sweet Pea Gin Elderflower Spritz (and we won’t deny, we tried quite a few!). Aside from looking ever-so-pretty, it’s sweet tasting, but not too sweet, thanks to the dash of lemon juice. It’s also utterly refreshing and makes for an exquisite sundowner at any time of year.
