On a global scale, many of us are now stuck in quarantine but the great thing is – we’re getting creative about it. We had some great My Sharona parodies to wash your hands by and now we have a classy version of Bohemian Rhapsody called Coronavirus Rhapsody.

Dana Jay Bein, a comedian from Cambridge, MA, USA, rewrote the words to Queen’s famous Bohemian Rhapsody, dubbing it Coronavirus Rhapsody.

He started out on Twitter saying: “I’ve lost my mind. I wrote Coronavirus Rhapsody: is this a sore throat, is this just allergies? Caught in a lockdown no escape from reality…”

Queen’s Iconic “Bohemian Rhapsody” Becomes the Most-streamed Song From the 20th Century
British rock legends Queen performed Bohemian Rhapsody in their 1975 album: A Night At The Opera

The Internet approved and more than half a million people have already liked the tweet. Some fans have taken it a step further, setting Bein’s words to music. And so we have this video above, with the lyrics by Dana Jay Bein, vocals by Adrian Grimes and the music by Queen!

Dana Jay Bein (DJB) is a Cambridge-based comedian and motivator. He’s known for stand up and improv, particularly for his quick wit, high energy and his ability to adapt to any audience. He’s been performing at comedy clubs, comedy festivals, colleges and corporate gigs for 20 years.

Chris Mann does his version of My Carona (to the tune of My Sharona).

It seems there’s nothing wrong with getting creative while you’re in self isolation. Let’s see what comes up next?
