3 Tips to Live a More Fulfilled and Productive Life

A deeply fulfilled life is borne from creating a balance— of the things that are most important to you in life. This largely depends on what you see as important, and what you don’t. Most people strive to make the best out of their health, family, career, or business to achieve fulfillment.

Being fulfilled is an amazing feeling, but not many people find it easy to achieve. Fulfillment seems like an easy concept on the surface, yet is an integration of so many factors. At the same time, it is important to note that fulfillment is relative. What one person deems as being fulfilled may not be the same for another person.

Also, contrary to what many people may think, fulfillment is not just about making a lot of money. It’s about having a grasp of what matters the most to you. And well, if that is money, then there’s no problem with that.

Here are 3 simple tips to help you live a more balanced, fulfilled, and productive life.

Make the Most of Your Mornings

There’s something incredible and deeply mystical about mornings. Most successful people capitalize on their mornings because it often sets the course and tone of the day. It also has a powerful ripple effect on the rest of their days.

When you start your mornings right, doing your own morning routine (because this differs from one person to another), this habit evolves into a cycle and helps you live a more fulfilled and productive life.

However, you don’t have to follow the norm of ‘morning routines’ or do what other people are doing in the morning. You can settle into your mornings via exercises, meditation, affirmations, or as simple as a nice cup of coffee. Figure out what works best for you, and follow it to a tee.

Build Strong Relationships

To a large extent, relationships form the core of life. And no matter how you try, you just can’t avoid interacting with people. The kinds of relationships you build with people are a congruent factor for your fulfillment in life.

Brian Swan, co-founder of the Unstoppable Branding Agency, emphasizes the essence of relationships. He recalls how he met Rhonda Swan— his present wife, while surfing at Mission Beach in San Diego, and how she has been a huge impact on his success today.

I was a corporate robotics engineer working in the Semiconductor, Biotech, and Aerospace industry, while Rhonda worked for a fortune 500 pharmaceutical company. We initially lived the American dream, with a nice house and solid real estate investments, until Rhonda said something that would drastically change the course of our lives. She said, ‘I want to have a family, but I’m not going to put my kids in daycare.’ That statement challenged me, and I sought to create a different life for myself and Rhonda,” he recounts.

Building relevant relationships are like a kind of investment. You never can tell who will be of value to you in the future, or who you’ll still cross paths with.

Embrace Positivity and Happiness

Maintaining positivity and happiness is a great start to living a more fulfilled life. Try to stay happy and positive regardless of whatever situation you find yourself in. When navigating through life, you can either choose anger or happiness. Happiness is a choice, and it’s a foundation on which to build other essential things of life.

Despite running a very busy schedule, Brian has been able to effectively play his role as the co-founder and business development manager of Unstoppable Branding Agency. He reveals that maintaining a state of happiness and positivity has been immensely useful for him to get through each passing day, be a great husband to Rhonda, and be a thoughtful father to his daughter, Hanalei Swan.

There’s a way that positivity changes our approach to life and makes us more fulfilled. Even when we find ourselves in the most depressing situations, finding a way to stay happy gives us a sort of reassurance and hope to await better days

Wrapping Up

A fulfilling life is not far-fetched. It depends on the things you prioritize the most, how you create a balance out of them, and how you handle life itself. Fulfillment is the key to life, and it is usually found in those acts that spark our true being and essence.

Do what works for you, and create a blissful life out of it.
