Paws What You Are Doing: #UberPuppies Is Here!

But you’ll have to be quick – the offer is only open on February 25, between midday and 4pm.

The service, which costs $40 for a 15-minute cuddle, will be rolled out in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, the Sunshine Coast, the Gold Coast, Perth and Sydney.

Uber has teamed up with Purina’s Pets At Work mission for this pawsome idea, with all funds going to local animal shelters.

Users receive an Uber and Purina gift back, and will also have the chance to adopt the puppies they’re cuddling.

To get on board, all you need to do is open your Uber app between midday and 4pm and request the PUPPIES option.

All successful requesters will be subject to a series of screening questions to ensure puppy safety.

“Not only has it been scientifically proven that the furrier your colleagues, the less stressful and more productive your workplace is, but we’re also working with local animal shelters to find new homes for our furry friends,” adds Uber.

“It will be anything but business as usual when these adorable canine-didates from animal shelters across Australia visit your office!”

Given the anticipated demand for the service, Uber is asking users to be patient if their initial request is unanswered.

“Keep trying as we’ll be working ourselves to the bone to deliver as many puppy snuggles as possible.”

Uber rolled out the same concept with kittens in Australian last year to an overwhelming response.
