Many of us are working longer hours and facing all kinds of stress, so it’s no wonder that we find it hard to unwind and relax when we get home. Don’t fear though because there are plenty of things that you can do to help eliminate some stress from your life.

There are several ways to set up your home to unwind. Upholstered furniture, cushions and rugs all combat noise pollution and envelop you with a sense of calm; in addition it’s worth placing your favourite flowers in a vase and some scented candles on a dish. Whatever your thing, a touch of your favourite scent will add to your general feeling of well-being!

It’s hard to relax at home when you walk in the door and immediately feel like you’re drowning in junk. Get rid of things that annoy or distract you – make your home an oasis of calm in your turbulent life.

We know that 1 in 4 Aussies struggle with their sleep, so we hope that the rhythmic, monotonous content of the Slow TV channel helps quieten the day, and get the mind and body ready for bed.” said Ryan Burman, Country Commercial Activity Leader for IKEA Australia

The IKEA Sleep Ship Slow TV will be streamed from Thursday 12th of September to Thursday the 26th of September, available for viewing here.
