How To Have Fun When Decorating Your Kids’ Bedrooms

Fashion designer Lizzie Renkert says you don’t have to spend heaps of money and you don’t have to scrimp on style when decorating your kids’ bedrooms.

The first decorating tip she gives is to create a blank canvas that you can reinterpret as the kids get older. You also should consider that practicality must come first: think about storage, colour and soft-lighting.

Then, if you’re decorating a nursery, Lizzie says it’s really important to have the option to play music because that is a good sleep aid for your kids.

And above all, have fun decorating and don’t be afraid to try new looks and colours.
