How did you get involved in V8 Supercars?

“I started a Public Relations internship at V8 Supercars while I was studying at Uni. I was then lucky enough to be offered a full-time role when I graduated. I had no understanding of the world of motorsport but now I live and breathe it!”

What was your lucky career break?

“I hung around long enough, so they couldn’t get rid of me! No, seriously, I worked hard and continued doing work experience even after I had finished the requirements from my University course.”

What is it like working in a male-dominated industry?

“Funnily enough we aren’t as male dominated as you’d think. My office has more females than males. There are also female engineers, mechanics, team owners and even some female drivers coming up through the ranks. We have a great team and when you travel as much as we do, the team become your second family.”
