Wine bars in London – Final
Celebrate the end of the Rugby World Cup by visiting some of London’s best wine bars. The choice of bars is immense but here are a few of helloworld’s favourite wine retreats:

Mayfair’s 28°-50° – a little haven away from the chaos of Oxford Circus, which is just around the corner. It’s all exposed wood, wrought iron and wooden wine cases, and because it’s run by a Master Sommelier the wines are both fantastic and reasonably priced.

Vinoteca – You’ll be a big fan of this small wine bar and you won’t be alone. The no-bookings policy in the evening means it’s first come, first served, and such is Vinoteca’s reputation for interesting wine and food at very acceptable prices, there’s always a queue but it’s worth it.

Sager & Wilde – a seriously stylish space in Hackney which heralded the new breed of London wine bar. Husband and wife team Michael and Charlotte have curated a cracking selection by the glass, including some special top bottles. The staff are lovely and now they’re doing little plates of delicious food in addition to their addictive grilled cheese sandwiches and charcuterie plates. It’s dangerous, in a good way.
