Nyepi is the Balinese ‘Day of Silence’ – a hindu celebration in Indonesia where all forms of activity from 6 am to 6 am the following day come to a standstill. For a period of 24 hours, the Balinese do not eat, and they do not talk, instead, they take the time for self-reflection by meditating.
This year, the public holiday falls on March 25 and there’s no better place to celebrate it than at the Westin Resort Nusa Dua in Bali itself. During your stay at the resort, there are plenty of relaxing and rejuvenating activities to do.
