Taronga Zoo Now Has Baby Lion Cubs And YOU Get To Name One

Sydney’s beloved Taronga Zoo is now home to five adorable baby lion cubs! The three males and two females, weighing between 5.5kg and 6.5kg, are only six weeks old but have already progressed enormously.

So, when can you see them?

Of course, NSW is still in lockdown, which means, unfortunately, no trips to the zoo. However, for a small donation of just $7, the public can access a 24/7 live stream of the five lion cubs – a donation that also supports Taronga’s vital conservation work!

Here’s the first look at Taronga Zoo’s new arrivals:

Not only are these new additions to the Taronga family drop-dead adorable but they’re also nameless. As they approach 8 weeks old, the keepers are still undecided on what to call them! So, they’ve decided, to make the name search easier, to call upon one of you.

All you have to do is head to the website, here, to cast your vote. The lucky winner will receive 20 family passes! What are you waiting for? Donate to watch the cute cubs from the Cub Cam and start thinking of names for our furry new friends.
