Dubbed “the UK’s hottest royal”, the 24-year-old niece of the late Princess Diana is steaming up the internet with a succession of bikini shots and holiday snaps.

She was also linked to Seven weatherman James Tobin during her whirlwind trip to Australia for the Melbourne Cup carnival, although friends insist she’s still single.

A palace source says that “aristocratic eyebrows have been raised” over her attention-grabbing behaviour, which includes a candid tell-all in the latest issue of Tatler magazine.

In a controversial cover story, Kitty says she’s totally fine with her younger brother Louis, 21, inheriting the family’s 13,000-acre spread in Northamptonshire instead of her.

“In general, I’m totally pro-gender equality,” says Kitty.

“But I’m quite happy that that’s going to be my brother’s responsibility. I just think it’s the correct way.

“I like that the house stays with the family with the same surname. I wouldn’t want it any other way for the Spencers. And I just know my brother is going to do an impeccable job.”

Her father Charles say he was “totally relaxed” about his eldest daughter inheriting the $210million Althrop estate.

“But that was the structure written by the person who first built this place.

“If I chose Kitty it would be against all the tradition that goes with Althorp. It’s just the way it is.

“I get the problems with it as a concept. I also get the strengths of it having worked to date.”

The controversial succession system – called primogeniture – is a hot top in the UK of late with several aristocratic women protesting that they are no less capable of managing the family’s fortune than their younger brothers.

Lady Kinvara Balfour called the system “archaic, mad, absolutely mad”, earlier in 2015, arguing that it sent a messsge that a “daughter is a disappointment and women are “second best”.

Meanwhile Lady Kitty tells Tatler, who named her one of the “most eligible girls” in Britain, that she’s perfectly happy keeping busy working for the charity Give Us Time, which organises holidays for struggling soldiers.

She also reveals that she’s only had “a couple” of boyfriends, “and they are still two of my best friends”.
