Why Kate And Wills Rule The Kids

After a busy week hosting Chinese dignitaries, Wills and Kate were clearly loving the relaxed change of pace at the premiere of the new animated film Shaun Of The Sheep: The Farmer’s Llamas in London.

Both Wills and Kate joined in the boisterous fun, which included a model-making workshop and craft activities session. Their visit was a sign of support from the royals for British creative industries.

Much to the amusement of the children watching, Wills and Kate also took part in the old fashioned British gumboot throwing sport of welly-wanging.

With sporty Prince Harry goading them from the sidelines, the popular royals were invited to throw a childrens’ boot at a model of the farmer from the movie.

Unfortunately for Harry, Williams struck bullseye on his first go and raised his hands and shouted in victory.

Wearing a $794 Tabitha Webb blue print dress, mum-of-two Kate wasn’t to be outdone, but her rather ladylike underarm throw fell woefully short.

Much to Wills’ amusement, his wife was also invited to help demonstrate to the crowd how animated films are made.

“Make Catherine do a silly walk”, Wills heckled to organisers from the sidelines.

So that’s what they did – carrying a large suitcase prop from the film, Kate obligingly re-enacted a film scene in front of a green screen to show how the filmmakers convert live action to CGI.

Later the children present gifted the royals with handmade models of the popular sheep.

“That’s amazing,” gushed Wills. “How long did the sheep take you to make? Very impressive. They are grazing away very happily.”

On a busy day for premieres, just hours later the royals were in their black tie best for the red-carpet launch of the new James Bond film Spectre at the Royal Albert Hall.

Wearing a bespoke Jenny Packham baby blue gown, the Duchess of Cambridge gave the Bond girls a run for their money in movie-star glam.

“It’s just fantastic to see everybody out tonight,” said Bond himself Daniel Craig, who was joined by all the star-studded cast for 24th installment of the famous spy franchise.

Other VIP guests included Sam Smith who performed the James Bond Theme song, “Writing’s on the Wall” live, accompanied by an orchestra.

Daniel’s stunning co-stars Lea Seydoux and Monica Bellucci escorted him up the red carpet as he posed for selfies with adoring fans.

As for whether he’ll reprise the role one more time, Daniel is remaining coy.

“I don’t know, I really don’t know. At the moment I can’t even conceive it.”

Spectre opens in Australia on November 12.
