5 Netflix Shows That You Simply Cannot Miss In 2020

2019 was a great year for Netflix with popular shows like Stranger Things and Black Mirror giving viewers some of the best content to date. It was a year full of laughs, tears and gasps, but we think 2020 can top last year…if you can believe it.

We’ve picked out five shows for you to get 2020 started on the right foot.

*DOUM DOUM*

1# You

The show about an obsessive man who stalks the women he plans to fall in love with – and that’s me putting that in the nicest way possible.

The plot will keep you on edge the whole time as constant complications barge in the way of the protagonists’ intentions (or antagonist…I don’t know). This smart, yet somehow charming character will get you on his side and make you forget just how disturbing he is.

Even the title will trick you.

“What are you watching right now?”

To which you unknowingly answer “You”.

Get it? Because he’s a stalker?

2# The Witcher

The action-packed series that sees a mutated monster hunter, Geralt, wander this medieval-set world, known as “The Continent”, where he slays monsters for coin and attempts to find his place. Here he discovers that the people he encounters can be just as wicked as the monsters.

3# Don’t F**k With Cats: Hunting an Internet Killer

Who would want to hurt a cute, little, helpless cat? This chilling mini docuseries follows the unbelievable amateur manhunt of a man who started with gruesome online videos and ended with a much darker finale.

4# Kevin Hart: Don’t F**k This Up

Deep dive into the private life of the world’s biggest comedian and experience his triumphs and downfalls. There will be moments of tears and uncontrollable laughter as Kevin Hart gives the viewers an honest perspective of how he’s dealt with cracks in his marriage, career, branding and entourage.

5# Killer Inside: The Mind of Aaron Hernandez

After the controversy of his arrest in 2013 when he was convicted for the murder of Odin Lloyd, through interviews with close friends, players and insiders, the viewers are immersed into the details of how Aaron Hernandez went from a New England Patriots star to a convicted murderer.
