Taylor Swift’s Surprise Wedding Celebration

Taylor’s lifelong bestie Britany Maack married Benjamin LaManna in their hometown Reading, Pennsylvania and the Shake It Off Singer says there was nowhere she’d rather be.

“I met her when I was 10 days old, and him in kindergarten. Now they’re married and I’m the happiest maid of honor ever, Taylor writes on Instagram, just days after winning three major Grammy gongs. “Congratulations @britmaack and Ben!”

Taylor, 26, also shares a gorgeous picture of herself cheering with her arms up in a giant crowd of happy friends and family, with a bouquet in her right hand.

The sun looks to be just about setting, and the newlyweds are surrounded by tuxedo-donning men and women in blush-colored dresses.

Taylor and Britany wore Reem Acra gowns — Britany’s silk taffeta ball gown featured hand embroidery and a cathedral veil with matching embroidery, while the singer’s blush pink chiffon dress had a hand-embroidered bodice.

According to a source, the Grammy winner was “a great maid of honour and made every effort to help Britany with whatever she needed. They were so happy and Taylor looked like she was in awe of how beautiful Britany looked.”

Taylor was flying solo at the wedding, with her boyfriend, DJ Calvin Harris, unable to attend.

He was apparently busy recording new music, posting a black and white photo to Instagram, showing him sitting at a mixing desk in a recording studio.

On the same day Taylor landed in her private jet, Taylor also found time to visit her childhood home with her mum Andrea.

A Twitter user named Jace, whose family reportedly lives at the singer’s previous address, shared a pic of the group alongside the Grammy-wining artist.

Reports say the singer made her way around her childhood home reminiscing about where all the magic began.
