Ouch! Bachelor Sasha Takes A Dig At Ex Sam Frost For Valentine’s Day

We feel your pain Sasha Mielczarek.

The former reality TV contestant, who announced his split from Bachelorette Sam Frost late last year, took to Instagram yesterday to celebrate Valentine’s Day with a very pointed message.

Sasha posted an adorable shot with his mum Kym, captioning it: “The only lady I need in my life at the moment! You mean the world to me and I don’t know what I’d do without you…especially on Valentine’s Day when I’m on my ‘Pat Malone’!” [alone].

He also thanked her for looking after him on the most romantic day of the year.

“Thanks for taking me to dinner Mother, love you all world,” Sasha writes.

He and Sam confirmed the demise of their 18-month romance over Christmas, saying at the time that he was “absolutely heartbroken”.

“I respect Sam wholeheartedly and cherish our new-found friendship,” said Sasha on Instagram.

“It is important to stress that there is no bitterness or scandal however the distance has been challenging at times.

“This is a very difficult time for the two of us and to be honest I’m absolutely heartbroken!

“Sammy, I think you are absolutely amazing, beautiful in every way and I wish you all the best in the future.”

Although in stark contrast to this time last year on Valentine’s Day, Sam also updated her story on Instagram yesterday, sharing an image of a bouquet of red roses to her 456,000 followers.

“Happy Valentines,” she captioned the photo, also adding in love heart emojis.

The radio host reportedly followed up that post with a second image of the flowers, writing:  ‘Lelll jk They’re actually my mums. I just wanted to feel a part of it.’

But both images had mysteriously disappeared from her Instagram page the next day.

Meanwhile, Sam continues to deny that she’s moved on with Bondi hipster Dave Bashford, despite photographic evidence to the contrary.

News Ltd reports that Sam’s management has denied any relationship between the pair, saying they are “just friends”.
