So when she took to Twitter this week to reveal how she deduces who will win the heart of her former TV flame Richie Strahan, it pays to take notice.
‘It’s safe to assume anyone Bach (sic) girl posting on social media or updating their profile doesn’t “win” the Bachelor,’ she writes.
She added the hashtag: ‘Process of elimination.’
Active social media contestants after filming finished include Noni Janur and Megan Marx, who proved Sam’s theory right when she rejected Richie’s rose this week.
“I love Megan even more!!!!” Sam writes after the shock walkout. “Mad respect to her for calling B.S!!!
After Megan’s surprise exit – the water-loving West Australian had been an early favourite to sweep Richie off his feet – Sam is now tipping Nikki to win.
“Nikki for the win…she seems super down to earth and genuine,” she adds in the same Tweet.
Meanwhile, The Bachelor fans have been quick to lament Megan’s departure as ‘Megxit’ on social media.
But Megan isn’t backing down on her controversial decision.
“I wasn’t seeing enough of Richie to be able to fall in love. We were about half way through at that point and I decided that it wasn’t really going to work for me,” she told NW in a post-exit interview.
“I hadn’t even told the guy I’d been married before!”
The Western Australia native was previously married at 18 and divorced by 22. Still, she’s happy to move on again and find a better match.
“[Richie] was a bit shocked but I don’t think he was that hurt or upset,” she told NW. “He had another 10 girlfriends there, so I’m sure he was fine!
As for her tip to win, Megan agrees with Sam on the Nikki front.
“I think Nikki or Alex will win. I think Richie really digs them,” she says.
