A year after Kim’s notorious ‘Break The Internet’ cover for Paper magazine, her one-time mentor Paris has posed up for the same publication, also in various stages of undress.
The 35-year-old socialite is one of the four cover stars for the Fandemonium issue, which also features Chloe Sevigny, Lucy Hale, and Marc Jacobs’ dog Neville.
Described by many as Paris’s way of showing Kim “anything you can do, I can do better”, the hotel heiress reverts back to the racy image she was so infamous for in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
In one photo The Simple Life star can be seen with a futuristic garment on, which from the front looks fairly demure with its zipper front and fitted silhouette.
But from behind it is completely backless, and all that saves the blonde’s blushes is a series of delicately tied bows which run the length of her arms, back and legs.
With her locks slicked back off her face in a style similar to that favoured by Kim, she can be seen with black lipstick on, as she looks coquettishly down towards the ground.
In another shot, Paris is wearing a see-through mesh dress, which exposes her chest.
A pair of nude pants preserves her modesty and she has a futuristic black choker on as her image is repeated again and again in the mirror behind her.
Following the sc-fi theme, in another photo she is draped in a PVC style leather frock, with side panel cut-outs which expose her ribs.
The dress also features thigh high splits and she gently grazes one onyx-coloured fingernail against the top of her leg.
As Paris sees it, she readied the path for Kim – her childhood friend who later transitioned into her personal assistant and closet arranger – to reap international notoriety.
But the pair reputedly fell out around 2007 after Kim’s profile took off thanks to Keeping Up With the Kardashians and a sex tape of her own.
At the lowest ebb of the fallout Paris told a Las Vegas radio station: “I would not want [Kim’s butt] — it’s gross! It reminds me of cottage cheese inside a big trash bag.”
