The boy band sensations have just released their final music video for the goodbye track History, which also includes departed member Zayn Malik.
Fittingly, the video below is a trip back through memory lane for the hit line-up, beginning with their breakthrough moment on The X Factor in 2010.
Fans will be pleased to see that many of the flashbacks feature a shirtless Harry Styles as he messes around with his bandmates backstage or in hotel lobbies.
There is also plenty of footage of former member Zayn, 23, one of which sees him huddle up together in the back of a car giggling.
Another clip shows him and Liam Payne flaunting their bromance as they share a hug in the back of another vehicle.
The video then emotionally wraps up with a clip of the boys’ final performance on The X Factor in 2015, before returning to the present day where they wave one another off and go their separate ways.
The emotional footage may tug on the heartstrings of many as Zayn recently told The Sunday Times that he is ‘not fussed’ about staying friends with them even though there’s “no beef”.
This revelation comes after Liam was quizzed about the possibility of Zayn returning to the chart-topping pop group.
He recently explained: “Who knows? He’s just doing his thing, he’s fine.”
He added that he would welcome him back with open arms, saying: “Of course, I love Zayn he’s great.”
Meanwhile, Louis Tomlinson reportedly has his hand full being a dad to his former fling Briana Jungwirth’s baby boy.
Taking to Twitter to share the happy news with his followers, the first-time father beamed with pride as he revealed he’s “so happy”.
“I’m pleased to say my baby son was born yesterday 🙂 He is healthy and pretty amazing, I’m very happy!!,” he tweeted in the early hours of the morning.
Louis, 24, indicated he was relishing his new-found fatherhood as he added: “Daddy daddy cool,” moments later.
Louis has recently relocated to Los Angeles so he can make the baby his priority.
A friend told the MailOnline that Louis is planning to be a hands-on dad and support his ex in any way he can.
“Although they’re not romantically involved, Louis thinks Briana is a great woman and will be a fabulous mother. Louis has been helping Briana financially and is prepared to get stuck in with all the tasks that caring for a baby demands.”
