Gigi, 21, is said to have moved into her 23-year-old singer boyfriend’s Hollywood home and he has “given Gigi permission to redecorate”.
The couple also share Gigi’s New York apartment when they are on the east coast and couldn’t be happier since reconciling after a brief split earlier this year.
“Zayn and Gigi have moved in together in LA and he’s busy furnishing and buying paintings to change it up and make it more of a couple’s pad, a source tells the Sunday Mirror.
“They cherish every moment together and make sure they’re never apart for longer than 10 days so it made sense for her to move in officially.’
The insider adds: “Zayn prefers a quiet night with Gigi than showbiz parties so it’s important she feels comfortable.
The source also claims that Zayn appreciates Gigi more now, owing to the support that followed his decision to pull out of Capital FM’s Summertime Ball due to anxiety.
‘They got through a rough patch that Zayn was facing personally and it started to put a dark cloud on their relationship. Gigi was there for him when he needed her the most and that brought them closer than ever.’
Zayn recently insisted he loves her for her mind.
“She’s super intelligent,” he tells Elle. “I think that’s why it works so well. And we do the same type of job so we get that with each other.”
“I need a challenge. Also, I like girls that are a bit chunky in certain areas, the nice areas. I like a fuller woman.”
Meanwhile, Gigi’s ex Joe Jonas appears to still be harbouring some bitter feelings over their split.
In a game of Shoot, Shag or Marry on US talkshow Watch What Happens Live, Joe reveals he’d prefer to kill poor Gigi.
“I’ll marry Demi, she’s a friend,” he tells host Andy Cohen, before pausing. “This is a game, right? Um…shag Taylor, kill Gigi?”
