Watch Out For Nicole Kidman And Margot Robbie In the Movie Bombshell

Bombshell features our own Nicole Kidman and Margot Robbie, along with well-known actor, Charlize Theron.

It’s set to be on our big screens by January 16th this year but already the new film Bombshell is being talked about as the movie to watch out for. With a stellar cast including our own Nicole Kidman and Margot Robbie, along with well-known actor, Charlize Theron, Bombshell is based on the real scandal which erupted at Fox News in America.

Bombshell is a revealing look inside what is considered one of the most powerful and controversial media empires of all time. It’s an explosive story of the women who brought down the infamous man who created this empire – CEO, Roger Ailes – exposing him for sexual harassment.

The film was first announced in May 2017 following Ailes’ death from hemophilia. This was just prior to the widespread sexual-abuse allegations against Harvey Weinstein in early October 2017 – allegations which mobilised the whole ‘Me too’ movement.

Much of the cast joined in the summer of 2018 and filming began in October 2018 in Los Angeles. Directed by Emmy Award winner, Jay Roach and written by Academy Award winner Charles Randolph, the new film will be released in Australian cinemas on January 16th next year.

Bombshell also stars Emmy Award winner Kate McKinnon, Golden Globe nominee Connie Britton, Emmy Award winner Mark Duplass, Emmy Award nominee Rob Delaney, Golden Globe nominee Malcolm McDowell and Academy Award winner Allison Janney.
