If Google engineer Max Braun has his way you’ll soon be able to do that, and a whole lot more.
Unsatisfied with what the current ‘smart mirror’s have to offer, Max, below, has taken matters into his own hands.
Although still in the early prototype stage, Max’s mirror can tell you what to wear, show you the weather, news headlines, and display your calendar – all while you’re brushing your teeth, or putting on make-up.
He says he got the idea after seeing the concept in 2000 clone-conspiracy action movie The 6th Day featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger.
“I realised that I wanted my ordinary bathroom mirror to be more like the future we were promised in the movies,” writes Max.
The mirror could run any application that has a Google Now using a similar technology to Siri.
The display itself is only a couple of millimetres thick, so it can easily fit between the panels of a two-way mirror, giving it a completely seamless appearance.
It looks like the future we’ve all been dreaming of since Minority Report.
