Love To Dream and The Pink Elephants have partnered up to use their business to support and help raise awareness to the issue of early miscarriages and pregnancy losses via the website Rainbow Swaddle Up.
Five dollars from each purchase on the website will directly go towards supporting The Pink Elephants Support Network – a charity in support of the many that have suffered miscarriages and consequent pregnancy losses.
Did you know?
- 1 in 4 pregnancies end before 12 weeks
- 1 in 3 women over the age of 35 experience pregnancy loss
- Very few parents receive help and support
BUT
- 80% of women who experience pregnancy loss go on to deliver a healthy rainbow baby
The partnerships celebrates these “rainbow babies”, rays of sunshine that are healthy babies that have been delivered after the storm that was previously a miscarriage.
This unique partnership with LOVE TO DREAMTM gives us the opportunity to celebrate special rainbow babies born to mums who have endured the heartache of pregnancy loss, while also helping us to reach more parents with the support they need during the difficult period of losing a baby,” Ms Payne said.
The Pink Elephant Support Network provides emotional support to those who have experienced miscarriage along their arduous fertility journeys. Pregnancy Loss Awareness month will take place in October of each year to raise awareness on a recurring issue that effects millions of families.
International Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day takes place on October 15th.
