Last year, 2014, was not a good year for Justin. He made headlines for an incident in which he was arrested, as well as nothing up charges of vandalism, assault, and reckless driving. When Sam and Kochie asked him how this year was different to last year, he didn’t hold back.
“It’s really awesome to just have so many people accept me again, and just know that I’m on a good path and just knowing myself, it feels great,” Justin told Sam and Kochie. “It’s pretty much night and day.”
The Biebe’s was much quieter on the music front than on the anti-social scene, but he admitted that he has learnt the hard way.
“I just feel like I see the world in a different way now. I think that before I was so tainted by so many people disappointing me and a lot of people I put my trust in let me down. So I just looked at people like, you know, that’s what they were gonna do.
I definitely had people that were taking advantage of me and taking advantage of the situation that’s for sure.
“I got a good crew now and they are all really encouraging and all really supportive and that’s what you gotta do, find people that will drive you forward and not pull you back.”
Not afraid of a little ink, Justin showed off his latest tattoo – a little souvenir from Down Under.
“A lot of places I went around the world I wanted to capture that moment, so I got a tattoo of the places,” he told Sunrise’s Sam and Kochie. “I did I got this one in Australia, the eagle.”
