3 Personality Traits That Make You Instantly More Attractive

If you want to start enjoying a wider circle of admirers, there are three key personality traits to work on, say experts.

A positive attitude, a balanced extroversion and confidence have been revealed as the most attractive qualities, in both sexes.

Psychologists say these three personality qualities not only make someone more attractive to the opposite sex but also prove they can get on with anyone.

Possessing these traits will help you win people over professionally, romantically and platonically.

The good news is that, to a large degree, these qualities can be self-taught too.

Learn to be more positive and you’re well on your way to a happier and longer life, say studies.

Optimistic people are also more professionally successful, mentally and physically healthy, and socially attractive. Similarly, people who are always kind are also perceived as being more attractive.

Striking a good balance of extroversion will also help you to appear better socially, happier and more willing to explore opportunities.

Psychologist Adrian Furnham, Ph.D., for Psychology Today, found that extroverts are more likely to have better “mating success”.

Extroverts simply have “big social networks, a history of good relationships, an inclination to explore opportunities, and dispositional happiness,” adds Adrian.

Being confident was voted as the most attractive personality trait because, say psychologists, it puts others at ease in your company and also helps elevate your social status.

In fact, both men and women rate confidence as a very attractive personality trait in a potential partner, according to a study out of Arizona State University.
