Quinoa is an extremely nutrient dense grain and a wonderful  granola breakfast alternative. It is a complete source of protein, as well as a rich source of magnesium, iron and calcium. The perfect way to begin the day.

Serves approximately 4-6

1 cup of organic rolled oats
1/2 cup rinsed uncooked organic quinoa
2TBS organic chia seeds
1/3 cup organic pepitas
1/2 cup chopped organic almonds
1/2 cup chopped organic walnut kernels
1/2 cup organic hazelnuts chopped roughly

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and place on a piece of baking paper in a baking tray. Spray with coconut oil and bake in the oven on 160 degrees, stirring every 5-10 minutes until golden. Allow to cool.
Serve with yoghurt/milk and fresh berries.
