According to Bridget Carmady, naturopath and founder of Clemence Organics, infusing your breakfast smoothie with a dash of herbal tea can improve your immunity, digestion and even your skin. Here’s her recipe for a fruity tea infused berry smoothie, that all packs a powerful punch of wellness courtesy of the addition of her antioxidant, vitamin, mineral, protein and fibre loaded tea.

INGREDIENTS

1 x cup of organic tea of your choice, brewed or steeped and allowed to cool
1 x banana
½ cup frozen mixed berries
1 cup fresh or frozen spinach
¼ cup oats
1 tablespoon of chia seeds
1 cup soy milk
Add water to thin to preferred consistency

DIRECTIONS

Add all ingredients to a blender and mix until well combined.
