If you’re struggling to convince your kids to eat their greens. (Or, working out a way to get your five a day yourself), then a quick scroll of Dagmara Anna Leniartek’s aesthetically pleasing Instagram feed should help. With 352,000 followers and a collection of spectacular creations to her credit, it was hard to narrow down a favourite. So we asked the Vitamix ambassador to share her favourite Little Kale Girl Smoothie Recipe.
INGREDIENTS
1/3 cup coconut milk (or milk of choice)
½ frozen pink pitaya
2 frozen bananas
1 frozen mango
2 peaches
1 cup coconut yoghurt
1 teaspoon chia seeds
1/3 cup fresh blueberries
2 fresh strawberries
INSTRUCTIONS
- Add mango, peaches and coconut yoghurt to a high-speed blender like the Vitamix and blend at speed 5 until smooth consistency
- Place blended mixture into ice cube moulds and freeze overnight.
- Add coconut milk, frozen bananas, frozen pink pitaya, and 4 cubes of frozen mango and peach, to your blender and blend at speed 10 for 30-40 seconds or until smooth consistency.
