Just because we’re nearing the end of mango season, it doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the King of Fruit throughout the year. Simply buy Aussie Mangoes while they’re in season from September to March and freeze them at home.

Here’s how:

1. Quality

Choose ripe, good quality Aussie mangoes so you can preserve the best possible flavours that will

take you back to those long, hot Summer days.

2. Preparation

Use a knife to remove the skin from the mango and slice the two cheeks into bite-sized pieces.

3. Freeze

Place the mango pieces onto a baking tray or shallow casserole dish and freeze for 3-5 hours or

until firm.

4. Seal

Transfer the mango pieces to a ziplock bag or airtight container. Label with the current date and

return them to the freezer where they will last up to ten months.

5. Enjoy!

Simply thaw the mango and add it to your breakfast bowl, smoothies and cocktails for that taste of Summer all year round!
