How To Do Slicked Hair Right? Problem is that often when attempted in your own abode, you can end up looking more drowned rat rather than model cool (true story).
We asked Renya Xydis, who was slicking hair left, right and centre at fashion week, exactly how to do her famous slicked hair. Best of all, this is an uber easy take and one that can be mustered even by those with two left hands.
“For the perfect slick-do, it’s essential to prep the hair correctly and use the right products to make sure the hair has the right finish,” says Renya.
“My favourite slick looks are the ‘models ponytail’, they give you an instant facelift! For night, try a slicked straight do with a wet finish.”
Renya’s Simple How To For Slicked Hair
- Prep hair by straightening in sections with Cloud Nine Original Iron
- Starting from the hairline, comb your hair in a backwards direction
- Applying Wella Eimi Sculpt Force, continue brushing your hair backwards combing the product through the hair from the hairline until about half way down the back of your head (for a more intense wet look, you can comb the the product back even further).
