And no one quite does brows like Benefit. In fact, they’ve been tending to the little caterpillars above our peepers since 1976, actually creating the brow category.
We asked Benefit’s National Brow Artist, Hannah Terrett, to tell us how to get the three most sought after brows women request, to ensure perfectly polished, bold and bushy or fashionably feathered arches every time.
Full Brow
A thick, full brow is by far the hottest brow trend right now thanks to Cara Delevigne and it’s here to stay. Brow tinting is a great way to immediately obtain a fuller, thicker brow. This simple service adds instant thickness and supports shading the finer hairs to form the overall shape.
To build on your shape, brow products are the pixie dust to bringing your brows to life, invest in two or three key brow products prescribed for your ideal brow needs to keep your brow game strong. I highly recommend Benefit Browzings for a defined shape and colour and Benefit Gimme Brow for volume and texture.
Feathered Brow
Let your brows run free with runway-ready feathered brows. Allow your brows four to six weeks to grow out. In the interim create, natural looking hair-like strokes to the sparse areas using a micro line pencil, such as Benefit’s Precisely, My Brow Pencil.
To keep any stray hairs in place, tame using a spoolie brush then brush them up and set with Benefit’s Ready, Set, Brow! The invisible setting gel that keeps your brows in position for 24hrs.
Defined / Angular Brow
Create the perfect insta brow in a flash, using an angle brush and a pomade brow gel like Benefit’s Ka-Brow. Sculpt and define by outlining the upper and lower brow arch then build colour by buffing the remaining product into the body of the brow.
Take your brow to the next level using Benefit’s 3D-Browtones to enhance your natural colour, add highlights and soft contrast.
All products are available at Myer, Sephora and online from July 22.
